This study examined the effect of dependency ratio and unemployment rate on human development index in Aceh Province. used secondary data with type time series during 2002-2020 obtained from Central Bureau Statistics. The analysis method was Vector Auto Regression (VAR). results showed that HDI did not have a negative significant themselves, ABK had no HDI, TPT HDI.
