We prove that if a positively-graded ring R is Gorenstein and the associated torsion functor has finite cohomological dimension, then the corresponding noncommutative projective scheme Tails(R) is a Gorenstein category in the sense of [10]. Moreover, under this condition, a (right) recollement relating Gorensteininjective sheaves in Tails(R) and (graded) Gorenstein-injective R-modules is given.
In this paper, we prove that the global Gorenstein projective dimension of a ring R is equal to the global Gorenstein injective dimension of R, and that the global Gorenstein flat dimension of R is smaller than the common value of the terms of this equality.
An artin algebra is called CM-free provided that all its finitely generated Gorenstein projective modules are projective. We show that a connected artin algebra with radical square zero is either self-injective or CM-free. As a consequence, we prove that a connected artin algebra with radical square zero is Gorenstein if and only if its valued quiver is either an oriented cycle with the trivial...
Let Λ be a quasi k-Gorenstein ring. For each dth syzygy module M in mod Λ (where 0 ≤ d ≤ k − 1), we obtain an exact sequence 0 → B → M ⊕ P → C → 0 in mod Λ with the properties that it is dual exact, P is projective, C is a (d + 1)st syzygy module, B is a dth syzygy of Ext Λ (D(M),Λ) and the right projective dimension of B ∗ is less than or equal to d − 1. We then give some applications of such ...
Let be a commutative Noetherian ring and let I be a proper ideal of . D’Anna and Fontana in [6] introduced a new construction of ring, named amalgamated duplication of along I. In this paper by considering the ring homomorphism , it is shown that if , then , also it is proved that if , then there exists such that . Using this result it is shown that if is generically Cohen-Macaulay (resp. gen...
a module $m$ is called $emph{h}$-cofinitely supplemented if for every cofinite submodule $e$ (i.e. $m/e$ is finitely generated) of $m$ there exists a direct summand $d$ of $m$ such that $m = e + x$ holds if and only if $m = d + x$, for every submodule $x$ of $m$. in this paper we study factors, direct summands and direct sums of $emph{h}$-cofinitely supplemented modules. let $m$ be an $emph{h}$...
Let $M$ be an $R$-module and $0 neq fin M^*={rm Hom}(M,R)$. We associate an undirected graph $gf$ to $M$ in which non-zero elements $x$ and $y$ of $M$ are adjacent provided that $xf(y)=0$ or $yf(x)=0$. Weobserve that over a commutative ring $R$, $gf$ is connected anddiam$(gf)leq 3$. Moreover, if $Gamma (M)$ contains a cycle,then $mbox{gr}(gf)leq 4$. Furthermore if $|gf|geq 1$, then$gf$ is finit...
Let R be a ring and M a right R-module. Ng (1984) defined the finitely presented dimension f p dim M of M as inf n there exists an exact sequence Pn+1 → Pn → · · · → P0 → M → 0 of right R-modules, where each Pi is projective, and Pn+1 Pn are finitely generated . If no such sequence exists for any n, set f p dim M = . The right finitely presented dimension r f p dim R of R is defined as sup f p ...
