We describe a general approach to modeling rational decision-making agents who adopt either quantum or classical mechanics based on the Quantum Bayesian (QBist) theory. With additional ingredient of scheme by which properties one agent may influence another, we arrive at flexible framework for treating multiple interacting and agents. present simulations in several settings illustrate our const...

The anti-senescence biogenic polyamines (PAs) putrescine (Put), spermidine (Spd) and spermine (Spm) are involved in plant growth processes and responses to stress. The physiological mechanism of exogenous Put to affect the senescence of cut lisianthus flowers during vase life was investigated. Fresh cut lisianthus flowers were treated with distilled water (control), 0.5, 1 and 2 mM Put and then...

Background: With the recent development of recombinant gonadotropins (FSH and LH), it has become possible to further adjust the stimulation protocol according to the expected needs of the patient. In this respect, the possible beneficial role of exogenous LH activity supplementation for stimulated ART cycles has received increasing attention. According to the two-cell, two- gonadotropin theory,...

We exploit the exogenous variation in peer groups generated by high school to college transitions to study the theoretical predictions of Battaglini, Bénabou and Tirole’s (2005) model of self-control in peer groups. As predicted by this theory, we find a non-linear, hump-shaped impact of peer similarity on individual self-control.
