In this work, an erratum for a proposition in the paper ‘‘A New Pre-Order Relation Set Optimization using $\ell$-difference" is outlined. It was pointed out by Stefan Rocktäschel and Ernest Quintana that proof of Proposition 3.11 wrong \cite{koc}. A small detail has been overlooked. new proposition, which closely related to \cite{koc}, presented. The main results are not affected erratum.

In this erratum the funding section of Opt. Lett.41, 3908 (2016)OPLEDP0146-959210.1364/OL.41.003908 has been updated.
