In this paper, the vacuum film deposition through electron beam evaporation has been reviewed and the effect of magnetic field on the operation of this system has been explained. Then, the magnetic field distribution due to magnetic components configuartion of a commercial evaporation source with 270-degree electron beam gun (manufactured by Sharif University Branch of ACECR), has been simulate...
We report on a novel pumping scheme for stimulated Raman scattering (SRS) that uses a Bessel beam. We have used this scheme for SRS from molecular vibrations in acetone and from a polariton mode in a LiIO(3) crystal. A nearly diffraction-limited Stokes beam was observed along the cone axis of the Bessel beam. The generation mechanism of the Stokes beam is identified as being due to noncollinear...
Pump-induced dynamical tunneling has been observed in free-space resonant optical pumping of a deformed microcavity by employing excitation spectroscopy. A focused-pump beam was injected into the cavity by refraction and then coupled to a high-Q cavity mode via dynamical tunneling. Pump-coupling efficiency as high as 50% and an effective coupling constant responsible for the tunneling were obta...
In this paper the design and simulation of quadrupole magnets and electron beam optical of that by CST Studio code has been studied. Based on simulation result the magnetic quadrupole has been done for using in beam line of first Iranian powerful electron accelerator. For making the suitable magnetic field the effects of material and core geometry and coils current variation on quadrupole ma...
We have numerically studied a non-adiabatic charge transport in the quantum Hall system pumped by a magnetic flux, as one of the simplest theoretical realizations of nonadiabatic Thouless pumping. In the adiabatic limit, a pumped charge is quantized, known as Laughlin’s argument in a cylindrical lattice. In a uniform electric field, we obtained a formula connecting quantized pumping in the adia...
We demonstrate charge pumping in semiconducting carbon nanotubes by a traveling potential wave. From the observation of pumping in the nanotube insulating state we deduce that transport occurs by packets of charge being carried along by the wave. By tuning the potential of a side gate, transport of either electron or hole packets can be realized. Prospects for the realization of nanotube based ...
