This review intuitively explains the fundamental trade-offs of repeated and equalized electrical interconnects for on-chip networks as referencing counterparts of emerging nanophotonic interconnects in terms of data rate density, energy per bit, and latency. We also review the current stateof-the-art electrical interconnects from literature.

Boolean Contact Algebras (BCA) establish the algebraic counterpart of the mereotopolopy induced by the Region Connection Calculus. Similarly, Stonian p-ortholattices serve as a lattice theoretic version of the onthology RT− of Asher and Vieu. In this paper we study the relationship between BCAs and Stonian p-ortholattices. We show that the skeleton of every Stonian p-ortholattice is a BCA, and,...

chapter one is devoted to a moderate discussion on preliminaries, according to our requirements. chapter two which is based on our work in (24) is devoted introducting weighted semigroups (s, w), and studying some famous function spaces on them, especially the relations between go (s, w) and other function speces are invesigated. in fact this chapter is a complement to (32). one of the main fea...

B. L. Clarke, following a proposal of A. N. Whitehead, presents an axiomatized calculus of individuals based on a primitive predicate "x is connected with y". In this article we show that a proper subset of Clarke's system of axioms characterizes the complete orthocomplemented lattices, while the whole of Clarke's system characterizes the complete atomless Boolean algebras. / Introduction In [2...

The connection method (CM) provides a general framework for automated deduction. It differs from similar deductive frameworks, (such as resolution or tableaux), through its unique feature of establishing the truth of a statement by a thorough analysis of the syntactic structure of the statement, without cost-intensive search for some derivation in the traditional sense of logic. It may thus be ...

The paper outlines a model-theoretic framework for investigating and comparing a variety of mereotopological theories. In the first part we consider different ways of characterizing a mereotopology with respect to (i) the intended interpretation of the connection primitive, and (ii) the composition of the admissible domains of quantification (e.g., whether or not they include boundary elements)...
