As an application of the new theory, we present full statements of the iterated contraction principle and the Banach contraction principle in cone metric spaces over a sol...

Since Huang and Zhang [1] introduced the concept of cone metric space, the study of common fixed points of mappings satisfying certain contractive conditions on cone metric spaces has been at the center of strong research activity, because it has not only important theoretical meaning but also wide applications. Recently, some authors obtained a number of meaningful consulting fixed point theor...

In 2007, Haung and Zhang introduced the notion of cone metric spaces. In this paper, we define an ordered space E, and we discuss some properties and examples. Also, normed ordered space is introduced. We recall properties of R, and we discuss their extension to E. We introduce the notion of E-metric spaces and characterize cone metric space. Afterwards, we get generalizations of notions of con...

This paper is devoted to prove the S. L. Singh’s common fixed point Theorem for commuting mappings in cone metric spaces. In this framework, we introduce the notions of generalized Kannan contraction, generalized Zamfirescu contraction and generalized Weak contraction for a pair of mappings, proving afterward fixed point results.

The existing literature of fixed point theory contains many results enunciating fixed point theorems for self-mappings in metric and Banach spaces. Recently, Huang and Zhang [4] introduced the concept of cone metric spaces which generalized the concept of the metric spaces, replacing the set of real numbers by an ordered Banach space, and obtained some fixed point theorems for mapping satisfyin...

The sequential $p$-convergence in a fuzzy metric space, in the sense of George and Veeramani, was introduced by D. Mihet as a weaker concept than convergence. Here we introduce a stronger concept called $s$-convergence, and we characterize those fuzzy metric spaces in which convergent sequences are $s$-convergent. In such a case $M$ is called an $s$-fuzzy metric. If $(N_M,ast)$ is a fuzzy metri...

We use hyperbolic geometry to construct simply-connected symplectic or complex manifolds with trivial canonical bundle and with no compatible Kähler structure. We start with the desingularisations of the quadric cone in C: the smoothing is a natural S-bundle over H, its holomorphic geometry is determined by the hyperbolic metric; the small-resolution is a natural S-bundle over H with symplectic...

in this paper, using the fixed point theory in cone metric spaces, we prove the existence of a unique solution to a first-order ordinary differential equation with periodic boundary conditions in banach spaces admitting the existence of a lower solution.
