Recently, the possibility of white noise generation from chaotic PLL has been shown on the basis of numerical simulation. In this paper we demonstrate chaos with the nature of white noise experimentally by using a popular PLL-IC module 4046. This hardware implementation is very easy to handle and many flat power spectra have been obtained at the input of VCO.

Historically, semiconductor superlattices, artificial periodic structures of different semiconductor materials, were invented with the purpose of engineering or manipulating the electronic properties of semiconductor devices. A key application lies in generating radiation sources, amplifiers, and detectors in the "unusual" spectral range of subterahertz and terahertz (0.1-10 THz), which cannot ...

Chaos is a nonlinear behavior that shows chaotic and irregular responses to internal and external stimuli in dynamic systems. This behavior usually appears in systems that are highly sensitive to initial condition. In these systems, stabilization is a highly considerable tool for eliminating aberrant behaviors. In this paper, the problem of stabilization and tracking the chaos are investigated....

Chaos is an important applied area in nonlinear dynamical systems and it is applicable to many real-world systems including the biological systems. Nerve membranes are known to exhibit their own nonlinear dynamics which generate and propagate action potentials. Such nonlinear dynamics in nerve membranes can produce chaos in neurons and related bifurcations. In 1952, A.L. Hodgkin and A.F. Huxley...

The search for generation approaches to robust chaos has received considerable attention due to potential applications in cryptography or secure communications. This paper is of interest regarding a 1-D sigmoidal chaotic map, which has never been distinctly investigated. This paper introduces a generic form of the sigmoidal chaotic map with three terms, i.e., xn+1 = ∓Af NL(Bxn) ± Cxn ± D, where...

Defective interfering (DI) viruses are thought to cause oscillations in virus levels, known as the 'Von Magnus effect'. Interference by DI viruses has been proposed to underlie these dynamics, although experimental tests of this idea have not been forthcoming. For the baculoviruses, insect viruses commonly used for the expression of heterologous proteins in insect cells, the molecular mechanism...

The time-delay signature (TDS) suppression of semiconductor lasers with external optical feedback is necessary to ensure the security chaos-based secure communications. Here we numerically and experimentally demonstrate a technique effectively suppress TDS chaotic using quantum noise. dynamical complexity are quantified autocorrelation function normalized permutation entropy at delay time, resp...

Chaos has been successfully applied in many fields to improve the performance of engineering systems, such as communication, vibration compact, and mixing. Generating chaos from originally non-chaotic systems is a relevant topic because potential applications. In this work, impulse control shown generate system. Using Chen system an example, we prove by analytical numerical methods that indeed ...
