In this paper, we prove the generalized Hyres–Ulam–Rassias stability of the mixed type cubic and quartic functional equation f (x + 2y) + f (x − 2y) = 4(f (x + y) + f (x − y)) − 24f (y) − 6f (x) + 3f (2y) in non-Archimedean ℓ-fuzzy normed spaces.

Generalizing the concepts of (∈,∈ ∨q)-fuzzy hyperideal, (∈,∈ ∨q)-fuzzy quasi-hyperideal and (∈,∈ ∨q)-fuzzy bihyperideal, the notions of (∈,∈ ∨qk)-fuzzy hyperideal, (∈,∈ ∨qk)-fuzzy quasi-hyperideal and (∈,∈ ∨qk)-fuzzy bi-hyperideal are defined. Using these notions, different classes of semihypergroups are characterized.

This paper concerns the theory of intuitionistic fuzzy sets according to Atanassov. If triangular norms, especially nonstrict Archimedean ones, are used, we propose a revision and a flexibilizing generalization of some fundamental notions and constructions of that theory. Its application to group decision making is outlined.
