急性骨髄性白血病（acute myeloid leukemia;AML）の髄外病変として，乳腺腫瘤を形成することは比較的稀である．今回われわれは，AMLの乳腺内再発を経験した．症例は39歳，女性．AML寛解後1年9カ月が経過していたが，乳腺腫瘤ならびに皮下結節が出現し，病理組織学的にAMLの結節性再発と診断された．超音波画像所見では，他のよく遭遇する乳腺腫瘤とは明らかに異なる所見を呈しており，既往歴からAML再発を疑った．腫瘤形成性AMLは比較的稀ではあるものの，本症例のように背景に造血器悪性腫瘍の既往がある場合には，髄外病変も念頭に置いて検査を進める必要がある．
