We discuss the determination of the radius of the total graph of a commutative ring R in the case when this graph is connected. Typical extensions such as polynomial rings, formal power series, idealization of the R-module M and relations between the total graph of the ring R and its extensions are also dealt with.
Let R be a commutative ring with identity and M an R-module. The Scalar-Product Graph of M is defined as the graph GR(M) with the vertex set M and two distinct vertices x and y are adjacent if and only if there exist r or s belong to R such that x = ry or y = sx. In this paper , we discuss connectivity and planarity of these graphs and computing diameter and girth of GR(M). Also we show some of...
Let R be a fnite commutative ring and N(R) be the set of non unit elements of R. The non unit graph of R, denoted by Gamma(R), is the graph obtained by setting all the elements of N(R) to be the vertices and defning distinct vertices x and y to be adjacent if and only if x - yin N(R). In this paper, the basic properties of Gamma(R) are investigated and some characterization results regarding co...
T. Tamizh Chelvam and T. Asir [15] studied the intersection graph of gamma sets in the total graph of a commutative Artin ring. The intersection graph ITΓ(R) of gamma sets in the total graph of a commutative ring R, is the undirected graph with vertex as collection of all γ-sets in the total graph of R and two distinct vertices u and v are adjacent if and only if u ∩ v 6= ∅. In this paper, we c...
let $r$ be a commutative ring with identity and $mathbb{a}(r)$ be the set of ideals of $r$ with non-zero annihilators. in this paper, we first introduce and investigate the principal ideal subgraph of the annihilating-ideal graph of $r$, denoted by $mathbb{ag}_p(r)$. it is a (undirected) graph with vertices $mathbb{a}_p(r)=mathbb{a}(r)cap mathbb{p}(r)setminus {(0)}$, where $mathbb{p}(r)$ is...
Let R be a commutative ring with identity and M an R-module. In this paper, we associate a graph to M, sayΓ(RM), such that when M=R, Γ(RM) coincide with the zero-divisor graph of R. Many well-known results by D.F. Anderson and P.S. Livingston have been generalized for Γ(RM). We Will show that Γ(RM) is connected withdiam Γ(RM)≤ 3 and if Γ(RM) contains a cycle, then Γ(RM)≤4. We will also show tha...
This work aims to introduce and study a new kind of divisor graph which is called idempotent graph, it denoted by . Two non-zero distinct vertices v1 v2 are adjacent if only , for some non-unit element We establish fundamental properties as well it’s connection with also planarity this graph.
Let $R$ be commutative ring with identity and $M$ be an $R$-module. The zero divisor graph of $M$ is denoted $Gamma{(M)}$. In this study, we are going to generalize the zero divisor graph $Gamma(M)$ to submodule-based zero divisor graph $Gamma(M, N)$ by replacing elements whose product is zero with elements whose product is in some submodules $N$ of $M$. The main objective of this pa...
