Topics covered by earlier updates in this series include health implications of new technologies, adolescent sleep, longterm conditions, accidents and injuries, health inequalities, disability, physical...

An outline and critical analysis of scientific studies on Violence and Health is presented. On the basis of a non-exhaustive review, the construction of violence as a national and international field of knowledge and intervention is broached. Outbreaks of violence are shown to occupy a broad domain of social life that reaches practically everyone, in situations of both war and supposed peace. T...

It is difficult to ignore the increased visibility of gay men, lesbians and even bisexuals in recent years, whether it be in the media, political fora, the academy, or in different legal contexts. The recent growth in legal scholarship on law, sexuality and sexual orientation is noteworthy as are the sustained efforts by lesbians and gay men to seek redress for social inequalities through litig...

Minkowski type inequalities for the seminormed fuzzy integrals on abstract spaces are studied in a rather general form. Also related inequalities to Minkowski type inequality for the seminormed fuzzy integrals on abstract spaces are studied. Several examples are given to illustrate the validity of theorems. Some results on Chebyshev and Minkowski type inequalities are obtained.

This paper addresses a multi-stage stochastic integer programming formulation of the uncapacitated lot-sizing problem under uncertainty. We show that the classical (`, S) inequalities for the deterministic lot-sizing polytope are also valid for the stochastic lot-sizing polytope. We then extend the (`, S) inequalities to a general class of valid inequalities, called the (Q, SQ) inequalities, an...

We propose two algorithms for deciding if systems of Walrasian inequalities are solvable. These algorithms may serve as nonparametric tests for multiple calibration of applied general equilibrium models or they can be used to compute counterfactual equilibria in applied general equilibrium models defined by systems of Walrasian inequalities.

This paper explores possible linkages between masculinities and different forms of sexual exploitation and sexual violence. Specifically, it seeks to answer the question: How do prevailing norms and views of manhood, or masculinities, contribute to some men's use of sexual violence, and the " demand-side " of sexual exploitation? We critically review existing literature on the topic, with a par...
