Abstract – A voltage-mode (VM), multi-input single-output (MISO) type multifunction biquad is proposed. It uses only one operational transresistance amplifier (OTRA) as the active element, while previously reported VM multifunction filters require more OTRAs. Proposed MISO type biquad configuration can realize all five different filter transfer functions. Theoretical results are verified with P...

In this paper, a new voltage-mode quadrature oscillator using minimum number of active and passive component is proposed. The proposed circuit employs single modified DVCC, two grounded capacitor and two grounded resistors, which is ideal for IC implementation. The active and passive sensitivity are no more than unity. The proposed circuit is verified through PSPICE simulation results.

In this paper multiphase oscillators built using fractional-order allpass filters are presented. We examine the theory behind their operation and demonstrate their usefulness in the design of both multiphase and quadrature oscillators. Case design examples are given for various scenarios, while PSPICE and experimental results verify their operation

A new circuit topology realizing a first-order currentmode all-pass filter is proposed using two dual-output second generation current conveyor and two passive components. The circuit possesses low-input and high-output impedance, which makes it ideal for current-mode systems. The proposed circuit is verified through PSPICE simulation results. Keywords—active filter, all-pass filter, current-mo...

An additional stage for a Low Voltage Lazzaro’s Winner Take All (WTA) circuit is introduced. It allows lowering the voltage supply requirements so that it can be functional in fine line CMOS technology. Electrical measurements of a prototype in CMOS 0.5μm technology verify the operation of the WTA circuit with VDD = 1.5V. Simulations in PSpice and stability issues are presented as well.

A single input and three outputs voltage-mode biquadratic filter using three plus-type second-generation current conveyors (CCII), two grounded capacitors and five resistors is presented. The proposed circuit offers the following features: realization of three filter functions, which are, lowpass, bandpass and notch filters, simultaneously, the use of only grounded capacitors. PSPICE simulation...

A CMOS inverting type second generation current conveyor ‘positive’ (ICCII+) is presented which is based on voltage and current mirror circuits. PSPICE simulation results of the proposed structure using 0.5 μm MIETEC CMOS process parameters show that it is suitable for wideband applications and has got a wide output current swing with small current tracking error.

A current mode variable frequency sinusoidal oscillator employing single differential difference current conveyor is proposed. The circuit uses two capacitors and three resistors which are minimum in number. The frequency of oscillation can be adjusted by a grounded resistor without disturbing the oscillation condition. The presented topology was synthesized using an innovative genetic algorith...

A new voltage-mode triple-input single-output multifunction filter using only two current conveyors is presented. The proposed filter which possesses three inputs and single-output can generate all biquadratic filtering functions at the output terminal by selecting different input signal combinations. The validity of the proposed filter is verified through PSPICE simulations. Keywords—Active Fi...

The paper presents examinations of human’s greater part of the circulatory system, modeled as an electric net. The similarities between human’s greater circulation and the electric model have been evolved. The analysis of the greater circulation was performed in PSPICE – an environment of electric circuits modeling. The designed model allows to analyze human’s greater circulation in physiologic...
