This paper studies the problem of robust exponential stability of uncertain perturbed neutral system with time varying delay. By introducing a novel Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional, new sufficient delay dependent stability conditions have been derived in terms of Linear Matrix Inequalities LMIs. Numerical examples are given to illustrate the theoretical developments.

This paper develops a new set of necessary and sufficient conditions for the stability of linear repetitive processes, based on a dissipative setting for analysis. These conditions reduce the problem of determining whether a linear repetitive process is stable or not to that of checking for the existence of a solution to a set of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Testing the resulting conditio...

This paper deals with the consensus control of a multi-agent system with state and measurement disturbances, and proposes a distributed dynamic output feedback protocol. By defining an appropriate controlled output, the consensus control problem is reformulated as an H∞ control problem. Using H∞ techniques, a sufficient condition in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) is given to ensure ...

This paper investigates the robust stability of linear neutral time-varying delay systems with non-linear perturbations. The uncertainties under consideration are nonlinear time-varying parameter perturbations and norm-bounded uncertainties, respectively. Using new Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional and integral inequality matrices, less conservative delay-dependent robust stability conditions for ...

In this paper piecewise quadratic stability of closed-loop affine Takagi-Sugeno (ATS) fuzzy systems with linear state-space submodels in the consequent of rules is addressed. The control law is assumed in the form of Parallel Distributed Compensation (PDC). Stability analysis of the closed-loop system is based on piecewise quadratic Lyapunov functions. This technique reduces conservatism of cla...

This paper studies the model reduction problem for linear continuous-time systems over finite frequency interval. Different form the existing methods in the literature, we resort the problem to the aid of recently developed Generalized Kalman-Yakubovich-Popov (GKYP) lemma. A finite frequency H∞ model reduction design method is presented in terms of solutions to a set of linear matrix inequaliti...

The paper provides a survey of some recent quadratic stability methods for static output feedback robust controller design for linear continuous-time invariant systems with convex polytopic uncertainty and their mutual comparison. Robust controller design is based on linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) conditions and single Lyapunov functions. The presented quadratic stability methods are compare...

Abstract In this paper, we propose a new method to design an observer for a class of non linear singular systems described by Takagi-Sugeno (TS) model, with measurable decision variables. The idea of the proposed approach is based on the singular value decomposition. The convergence of the state estimation error is studied using the Lyapunov theory and the stability conditions are given in term...

This article investigates the stabilization problem of a nonlinear networked control system (NCS) exposed to replay attack. A new mathematical model attack is proposed. The resulting closed-loop defined as discrete-time Markovian jump linear (MJLS). Employing Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional, sufficient condition for stochastic stability given in form matrix inequalities (LMIs). law can be obtain...

The problems on synchronization and pinning control for complex dynamical networks with interval time-varying delay are investigated and two less conservative criteria are established based on reciprocal convex technique. Pinning control strategies are designed to make the complex networks synchronized. Moreover, the problem of designing controllers can be converted into solving a series of NMI...
