‎In this paper‎, ‎algebraic investigations on sup-$Sigma$-algebras are presented‎. ‎A representation theorem for‎ ‎sup-$Sigma$-algebras in terms of nuclei and quotients is obtained‎. ‎Consequently‎, ‎the relationship between‎ ‎the congruence lattice of a sup-$Sigma$-algebra and the lattice of its nuclei is fully developed.

In this paper, the nonlinear lattice-Hammerstein filter and its properties are derived. It is shown that the error signals are orthogonal to the input signal and also backward errors of different stages are orthogonal to each other. Numerical results confirm all the theoretical properties of the lattice-Hammerstein structure.

We compute the b quark mass from dynamical lattice QCD with clover quarks. The calculation is done at a fixed lattice spacing with sea quark masses as low as half the strange quark mass. Our final result is m b (m b) = 4.25(2)(11) GeV, where the first error is statistical and the last error is the systematic uncertainty.
