Amoebiasis is an uncommon disease in developed countries. Its clinical presentation can be variable and non-specific, and the diagnosis can be easily overlooked. We report a case of colonic amoebic abscess mimicking advanced colonic cancer with acute intestinal obstruction and liver metastasis. The presentation, diagnosis, and treatment of amoebiasis are also reviewed.

The metastatic breast cancer to the duodenum is rare in spite of common breast cancer. In this paper, we are reporting a rare case of 50-year-old lady who presented with intestinal obstruction as result of metastatic breast cancer which completely responds to chemotherapy. The tumor presents again as brain metastasis after stop of Herceptin due to cardiac toxicity.

A patient who presented with acute intestinal obstruction had a right hemicolectomy for a caecal tumour. The histopathology report confirmed metastatic carcinoma in the caecum from the cervical carcinoma. Caecum is a very rare site of metastasis from cervical carcinoma. From our literature review, there have been no such cases reported.
