This paper proposes a digital calibration algorithm for a 2-stage cyclic analog-to-digital converter (ADC) with 12-bit resolution used in a 33-Mpixel 120-fps CMOS image sensor. A simulation was performed to verify the algorithm with the large values of errors that we set. Results showed that the maximum differential nonlinearity (DNL) was improved to 0.49 LSB from 4.5 LSB, and that the integral...

We introduce a Monte Carlo scheme for the approximation of the solutions of fully non–linear parabolic non–local PDEs. The method is the generalization of the method proposed by [Fahim-Touzi-Warin, 2011] for fully non–linear parabolic PDEs. As an independent result, we also introduce a Monte Carlo Quadrature method to approximate the integral with respect to Lévy measure which may appear inside...

AIM To examine the relationship between retinal ganglion cell loss and changes in the inner nuclear layer (INL) in optic neuritis (ON). METHODS 36 multiple sclerosis (MS) patients with a history of ON and 36 age and sex-matched controls underwent Optical Coherence Tomography. The paramacular retinal nerve fiber layer (RNFL), combined ganglion cell and inner plexiform layers (GCL/IPL) and inne...

Anomalous dimension and higher conserved charges in the sl(2) sector of N = 4 SYM for generic spin s and twist L are described by using a novel kind of nonlinear integral equation (NLIE). The latter can be derived under typical situations of the SYM sectors, i.e. when the scattering need not depend on the difference of the rapidities and these, in their turn, may also lie on a bounded range. He...

Abstract. Several concepts of approximate reasoning in uncertainty processing are linked to the processing of distribution functions. In this paper we make use of probabilistic framework of approximate reasoning by proposing a Lebesgue-type approach to integration of non-negative real-valued functions with respect to probabilisticvalued decomposable (sub)measures. Basic properties of the corres...

Novel simple user-friendly python programme was developed to predict linearity and non-linearity in pharmaceutical optimization. Optimization is the process of obtaining optimum formulation. There are independent dependent variables optimization techniques regarding formulations. The number levels factor usually selected based on linear/ non-linear relationship existing between variable. run af...

The Rational Expectations Permanent Income Hypothesis implies that consumption follows a martingale. However, most empirical tests have rejected the hypothesis. Those empirical tests are based on linear models. If the data generating process is non-linear, conventional tests may not assess some of the randomness properly. As a result, inference based on conventional tests of linear models can b...

This paper proposes a method to estimate the Integral Non-Linearity of AD-converters from the lower order output Fourier coeficients of a sinusoidal input. In order to get a high quality estimate, the lower order Fourier coeflcients have to be stabilized with respect to the rounding operation of the AD-converter. For this we use a computationally eficient and easily applied method named wobbling.

We summarize some recent results showing how the lambdacalculus may be obtained by considering the metric completion (with respect to a suitable notion of distance) of a space of affine lambda-terms, i.e., lambda-terms in which abstractions bind variables appearing at most once. This formalizes the intuitive idea that multiplicative additive linear logic is “dense” in full linear logic (in fact...
