The vacuum state of gluonic quantum chromodynamics on the lattice is determined up to fifth order in a 1IN c expansion ( N = number of colours). The vacuum expectation value of the gluon field squared Fa,vF~ ~ is deduced. The quark-antiquark and gluon-gluon potential is calculated in the same limit up to the 1/N~ order.

The discovery potential for charged Higgs bosons at the ATLAS and CMS experiments is discussed with focus on the MSSM. Studies for several decay channels for the charged Higgs boson are presented both for production in top quark decays and gluon-gluon/gluon-bottom fusion. The electric screening mass of the gluon at finite temperature is estimated by considering the gluon condensate above the critical temperature. We find that the thermal gluons acquire an electric mass of order T due to the gluon condensate. PACS number(s): 12.38.Mh; 12.38.Lg; 52.25.Kn

It is shown that in the Glauber scattering of a fast quark in the external field loop corrections to the gluon emission amplitude due to virtual softer gluon after renormalization coincide with a correction due to reggeization of the exchanged gluon in the BFKL picture.

I present some preliminary results, obtained in collaboration with C. Bernard and A. Soni, for the lattice evaluation of 2-and 3-point gluon correlation functions in momentum space, with emphasis on the amputated 3-gluon vertex function. The final goal of this approach is the study of the running QCD coupling constant as defined from the amputated 3-gluon vertex.
