Background: Aspergillus species are opportunistic pathogens among immunocompromised patients. In terms of pathogenesis and mycotoxin production, they are in great value. The aim of the this study was to evaluate of beta-tubulin gene for identification of clinical Aspergillus species by PCR-sequencing method compared to morphological features of clinical isolates (such as conidial shape in direc...

Although gene expression profiling by microarray analysis is a useful tool for assessing global levels of transcriptional activity, variability associated with the data sets usually requires that observed differences be validated by some other method, such as real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction (real-time PCR). However, non-specific amplification of non-target genes is frequently o...

The aim of this study was isolation and identification fungi producing aflatoxin B1 from wheat which stored for four months in some silos Baghdad , including Al Taji Silo, Khan Bani Saad Silo Dhari Silo. Those Silos were included the agricultural plan marketing season 2020. Different types obtained. They initially identified according to cultural morphological characteristics as Alternaria spp,...

background: malassezia are dimorphic, lipid-dependent yeasts, which are responsible for causing several cutaneous and systemic conditions. although cyclophilins (cyps) are highly conserved cytosolic proteins that catalyze the peptidyl-prolyl cis-trans isomerazation reaction before protein folding process, it has been suggestive of an allergen in a few numbers of fungi such as aspergillus fumig...

In Penguin city of Sulaymaniyah Province-Iraq is known for their vegetarian richness and contained a wide variety microorganisms which have not been recognized yet. Seven new fungal isolates were identified as Trichoderma reesei fungi via phenotypic molecular process i.e ITS rDNA gene then registered in the bank NCBI first time Iraq.

Puumala virus (PUUV) is a hantavirus specifically harboured by the bank vole, Myodes (earlier Clethrionomys) glareolus. It causes a mild form of hemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome (HFRS) in humans, called Nephropathia epidemica (NE). The clinical severity of NE is variable among patients and depends on their major histocompatibility complex (MHC) genetic background. In this study we investig...

Background & Objective: Shigella are Gram negative bacteria capable of inducing their entry into non-phagocytic cells via secretion of various effector proteins called invasion plasmid antigens (Ipas). The most important of them is VirG protein. Live attenuated Shigella vaccines have indicated promise in inducing protective immune responses in human clinical trials. In current situation, const...

Abstract       Background and objective: Hepatitis B virus (HBV) is a DNA virus with high tendency toward hepatic tissue. There are currently about 3 million HBV-infected people and 350 to 400 million chronic carriers of this virus in the world. X protein plays a role in the over-expression of oncogenes, carcinogenicity of liver cells and overlaps with the basal co...

A system for generating chromosomal insertions in lactococci is described. It is based on the conditional replication of lactococcal pWV01-derived Ori+ RepA- vector pORI19, containing lacZ alpha and the multiple cloning site of pUC19. Chromosomal AluI fragments of Lactococcus lactis were cloned in pORI19 in RepA+ helper strain Escherichia coli EC101. The frequency of Campbell-type recombinants,...

In the work presented in silico DNA sequence and dendrogram analyses were carried out to reveal molecular diversity genetic distances among Rhytisma entries related species based on gene bank data mining. The study revealed that R. acerinum shows closest distance polare. nucleotide variation detected raised a need for consensus between Linnean morphological new systematics.
