This paper presents a general and complete duality theory for optimal control of systems governed by linear ordinary differential equations with a convex cost criterion. Existence theorems for optimal control problems are obtained using the duality theory and a direct relationship between duality and Pontryagin's Maximum Principle is exhibited. Finally, applications to decomposition of optimal ...

we consider the concept of fuzzy quasi-contractions initiated by '{c}iri'{c} in the setting of fuzzy metric spaces and establish fixed point theorems for quasi-contractive mappings and for fuzzy $mathcal{h}$-contractive mappings on m-complete fuzzy metric spaces in the sense of george and veeramani.the results are illustrated by a representative example.

in this note we consider the notion of intuitionistic fuzzy (weak) dual hyper k-ideals and obtain related results. then we classify this notion according to level sets. after that we determine the relationships between intuitionistic fuzzy (weak) dual hyper k-ideals and intuitionistic fuzzy (weak) hyper k-ideals. finally, we define the notion of the product of two intuitionistic fuzzy (weak) du...

Hong [Fuzzy Optimization of Decision Making 13 (2014) 415-434, Information Sciences 228 (2013) 45-60.] considers the law of large numbers for T -independent weighted fuzzy variables whose underlying spaces are Rp. He proved T -independent fuzzy renewal theorems and renewal reward theorems with respect to the necessity measure and the expected values of fuzzy variable by using the law of large n...

in this paper, the concept of intuitionistic fuzzy mapping as a generalization of fuzzy mapping is presented, and its' relationship with intuitionistic fuzzy relations is derived. moreover, some basicoperations of intuitionistic fuzzy mappings are defined, hence we can conclude that all of intuitionistic fuzzy mappings constitute a soft algebrawith respect to these operations. afterwards, the a...

A non-trivial example of an L-topological space, the L-fuzzy real line is examined. Various L-topological properties and their relationships are developed. Extension theorems on the L-fuzzy real line as well as extension theorems on more general L-topological spaces follow. Finally, a theory of L-fuzzy vector spaces leads up to a fuzzy version of the Hahn-Banach theorem.

A new notion of higher-order weakly generalized adjacent epiderivative for a set-valued map is introduced. By virtue of the epiderivative and weak minimality, a higher-order Mond-Weir type dual problem and a higher-order Wolfe type dual problem are introduced for a constrained setvalued optimization problem, respectively. Then, corresponding weak duality, strong duality and converse duality the...

Abstract In this article, we present generalizations of the cone-preinvexity functions and study a pair second-order symmetric solutions for multiple objective nonlinear programming problems under these functions. addition, establish prove theorems weak duality, strong strict converse self-duality by assuming skew-symmetric Finally, provide four nontrivial numerical examples to demonstrate that...

In this paper, we study fuzzy calculus in two main branches differential and integral.  Some rules for finding limit and $gH$-derivative of $gH$-difference, constant multiple of two fuzzy-valued functions are obtained and we also present fuzzy chain rule for calculating  $gH$-derivative of a composite function.  Two techniques namely,  Leibniz's rule and integration by parts are introduced for ...

Several combinatorial structures exhibit a duality relation that yields interesting theorems, and, sometimes, useful explanations or interpretations of results that do not concern duality explicitly. We present a common characterization of the duality relations associated with matroids, clutters (Sperner families), oriented matroids, and weakly oriented matroids. The same conditions characteriz...
