In the title centrosymmetric dinuclear nickel complex, [Ni(2)(C(22)H(30)N(4)O(2))(NO(3))(2)], each of the two Ni(II) atoms has a distorted octa-hedral geometry, defined by two N atoms and two O atoms from the macrocyclic ligand and two O atoms from a chelating nitrate anion. The two Ni atoms are bridged by two phenolate O atoms, forming a four-membered Ni(2)O(2) ring.

The centrosymmetric title compound, [Cu(2)(C(10)H(8)N(2))(2)(C(25)H(22)P(2))(2)](BF(4))(2), consists of discrete dinuclear cations and tetra-fluoro-borate anions. The two Cu(I) centers are bridged by the phosphine ligands to form an eight-membered ring. The Cu(I) center exhibits a tetra-hedral coordination as it is chelated by the N-heterocycle.

The complete dinuclear mol-ecule of the title complex, [Cu(2)(CH(3)COO)(4)(C(12)H(12)N(2))(2)], is generated by a centre of inversion. The Cu(II) atoms are connected [Cu-Cu = 2.6329 (16) Å] and bridged by four acetate ligands. The distorted octa-hedral coordination geometry is completed by a terminal pyridine N atom. The amine H atom forms an intra-molecular N-H⋯O hydrogen bond.

The synthesis, structural, electronic and magnetic characterization of five dinuclear Co(II) azacryptand compounds (1-5) bridged through different ions are reported. The magnetic exchange interactions, 2J values, obtained from theoretical computations show that the variation of the intermetallic angles and distances lead to antiferromagnetic behaviours. Magneto-structural correlations show a tr...

Abstraction of chloride anion from Au(I) complexes such as JohnPhosAuCl in noncoordinating solvents with 1 equiv of a silver salt, or even larger amounts, leads to the formation of chloride-bridged dinuclear gold(I) complexes, irrespective of the counteranion, which are substantially less reactive as catalysts. This incomplete removal of chloride ligand could lead to false negative results when...

The dinuclear title complex, [Ti(2)(C(10)H(15))(2)(C(7)H(2)F(5)O)(4)O], features two Ti(IV) atoms bridged by an O atom. Each Ti atom is bonded to a η(5)-penta-methyl-cyclo-penta-dienyl ring, two (penta-fluoro-phen-yl)methano-late anions and to the bridging O atom. The environment around each Ti atom can be considered as a distorted tetra-hedron.

In the centrosymmetric and dinuclear title complex, [Mn(2)(C(22)H(22)N(4)O(2))(ClO(4))(2)], the two Mn atoms are bridged by two phenolate O atoms of the N(4)O(2) macrocycle with an Mn⋯Mn distance of 2.9228 (11) Å. The distorted square-pyramidal N(2)O(3) coordination geometry is completed by an O atom derived from a perchlorate anion.

In the title compound, [Ag2(C6H7N2O2S)2], the Ag(I) atom is coordinated by two N atoms from two N-(pyridin-2-yl)methane-sulfonamidate anions in a slightly bent linear geometry [N-Ag-N = 166.03 (7)°]. The Ag(I) atoms are bridged by the N-(pyridin-2-yl)methane-sulfonamidate anions, forming a centrosymmetric dinuclear mol-ecule, in which the Ag⋯Ag distance is 2.7072 (4) Å.
