In this paper a general class of analytic functions involving a convolution structure is introduced. Among the results investigated are the various results depicting useful properties and characteristics of this function class by employing the techniques of differential subordination. Relevances of the main results with some known results are also mentioned briefly.

In this paper, we generalize the well known differential operator by using a generalized hypergeometric function. By applying this operator, we introduce a new class of non-Bazilević functions and derive subordination and superordination results for the class in the unit disk. Relevant connections of the results presented in this paper are also pointed out with various other known results.

Let q1 and q2 be univalent in ∆ := {z : |z| < 1} with q1(0) = q2(0) = 1. We give some applications of first order differential subordination and superordination to obtain sufficient conditions for a normalized analytic functions f with f(0) = 0 , f ′(0) = 1 to satisfy q1(z) ≺ zf ′(z) f(z) λ ≺ q2(z).

Using the methods of differential subordination and superordination, sufficient conditions are determined on the Liu-Srivastava linear operator of meromorphic functions in the punctured unit disk to obtain respectively the best dominant and the best subordinant. Let q1 and q2 belong to a certain class of normalized analytic univalent functions in the open unit disk of the complex plane. Sufficient conditions are obtained for normalized analytic functions p to satisfy the double subordination chain q1(z)≺ p(z)≺ q2(z). The differential sandwich-type result obtained is applied to normalized univalent functions and to Φ-like functions.
