Let A and B be two nonempty subsets of a metric space X. A mapping T : A∪B → A∪B is said to be noncyclic if T (A) ⊆ A and T (B) ⊆ B. For such a mapping, a pair (x, y) ∈ A×B such that Tx = x, Ty = y and d(x, y) = dist(A,B) is called a best proximity pair. In this paper we give some best proximity pair results for noncyclic mappings under certain contractive conditions.
In this paper, we prove tripled fixed point theorem for nonlinear (φ,ψ)-contractive on partially ordered complete metric spaces without mixed monotone. We also prove the uniqueness of tripled fixed point of such mappings. Further, we extend the recent results of the tripled fixed point theorem of the given mapping with mixed monotone in partially orderd metric spaces.

In this paper, we consider a new class of pairs of generalized contractive type mappings defined in ordered partial metric spaces. Some coincidence and common fixed point results for these mapping are presented. An example is given to illustrate our obtained results.
