This note is a response to one of problems posed by A.K. Kwaśniewski in [7]. Namely with {Pn}n≥0 being the sequence of finite cobweb subposets, the looked for explicit formulas for corresponding sequence {χn(t)}n≥0 of Pn’s characteristic polynomials are discovered and delivered here. The recurrence relation defining arbitrary family {χn(t)}n≥0 is also derived.

abstract this paper discusses several commonly used models for strategic marketing¹ including market environmental analysis methods (i.e. swot and pest analysis) and strategic marketing tools and techniques (i.e. boston matrix and shell directional policy matrix)and shows how these models may help a firm to achieve its strategic goals. at first, the main reason for doing this research is de...

One considers here acyclic digraphs named KoDAGs (****) which represent the out-most general chains of di-bi-cliques denoting thus the outmost general chains of binary relations. Because of this fact KoDAGs start to become an outstanding concept of nowadays investigation. We propose here examples of codings of KoDAGs looked upon as infinite hyper-boxes as well as chains of rectangular hyper-box...

The ever changing network traffic reveals new attack types, which represent a security threat that poses a serious risk for enterprise resources. Therefore, the security administrators are in a real need to employ efficient Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems, IDPS. Such systems might be capable to learn from the network behavior. In this paper, we present an incremental Learnable Model ...

The mass uptake of internet connected, GPS enabled mobile devices has resulted in a surge of citizens active in making a huge variety of environmental observations. The use and reuse potential of these data is significant but currently compromised by a lack of interoperability. Useable standards either don’t exist, are neglected, This work is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-Non ...

We develop a cobweb model in which firms, facing two-period production delay, have access to flexible (costly) and an inflexible (cheap) technology. Moreover, firms select between technologies depending on their evolutionary fitness, measured terms of past realized profits. The dynamics our is driven by four-dimensional nonlinear map. analytically show that its unique steady state may become un...

Incremental systems often suffer from ordering effects: the knowledge structures that they form may vary with the presentation of objects. We discuss this phenomenon primarily in the context of an incremental, unsupervised system known as COBWEB, but speculate of related phenomena found in supervised systems such as ID4.
