MR examination of the spine after injection of gadopentetate dimeglumine showed enhancement of the cauda equina in a case of Guillain-Barré syndrome. These MR observations may help confirm the diagnosis of Guillain-Barré syndrome.

A case of classical Guillain-Barré syndrome following acute head trauma is described. The association of Guillain-Barré syndrome with head injury per se is not well recognized, and a possible immunological explanation is proposed.

We report a clinical case of Guillain-Barré syndrome associated with acute pancreatitis, and perform a review in literature about clinical complications related to Guillain-Barré syndrome. We suggest the possibility of being the events immunologically related.
