Se reporta la presencia de dos especies del género Gomphocarpus (Apocynaceae, Asclepiadoideae) que crecen espontáneamente en Argentina: G. fruticosus (escapada cultivo) y physocarpus (naturalizada). Las mismas se describen, indica su distribución geográfica, usos, polinización dispersión. Además, analiza el estatus naturalización estas país.
