Abstract The object of this paper is the Saint-Venant torsion a solid elliptical cylinder made orthotropic homogeneous piezoelectric material. We find shape cross section which does not warp under applied torque. sizes section, has maximum value torsional rigidity for given cross-sectional area, are also determined.
