We exhibit examples of triangulated categories which are neither the stable category of a Frobenius category nor a full triangulated subcategory of the homotopy category of a stable model category. Even more drastically, our examples do not admit any non-trivial exact functors to or from these algebraic respectively topological triangulated categories. Introduction. Triangulated categories are ...

The notion of stratified (L, M)-semiuniform convergence tower spaces is introduced, which extends the notions ofprobabilistic semiuniform convergence spaces and lattice-valued semiuniform convergence spaces. The resulting categoryis shown to be a strong topological universe. Besides, the relations between our category and that of stratified (L, M)-filter tower spaces are studied.

The aim of this paper is to study L-fuzzy closure operator in Lfuzzy topological spaces. We introduce two kinds of L-fuzzy closure operators from different point view and prove that both L-TFCS–the category of topological L-fuzzy closure spaces–and L-PTFCS–the category of topological pointwise L-fuzzy closure spaces–are isomorphic to L-FCTOP.

We propose a convenient category for directed homotopy consisting of “directed” topological spaces generated by “directed” cubes. Its main advantage is that, like the category of topological spaces generated by simplices suggested by J. H. Smith, it is locally presentable.

We propose a convenient category for directed homotopy consisting of preordered topological spaces generated by cubes. Its main advantage is that, like the category of topological spaces generated by simplices suggested by J. H. Smith, it is locally presentable.

In this paper we consider topological spaces as generalised orders and characterise those spaces which satisfy a (suitably defined) topological distributive law. Furthermore, we show that the category of these spaces is dually equivalent to a certain category of frames by simply observing that both sides represent the idempotents split completion of the same category.
