An attempt was made to investigate the social network of thirty two first admission cases of Schizophrenia, vis-a-vis thirty one non-schizophrenic psyhiatric patients. The social network of the two groups did not differ significantly. The findings are discussed in relation to the nature of sample and the control group.

This paper proposes a visualization method to represent user social relationship using dynamic hierarchy method for analysis of social network service. The proposed method uses internal relationship of user correlation and external relation of network node to construct hierarchy relationship by dynamic hierarchy method which can intuitively understand user’s interaction.

Recommended by Stevo Stevic Part-metric-related PMR inequality chains are elegant and are useful in the study of difference equations. In this paper, we establish a new PMR inequality chain, which is then applied to show the global asymptotic stability of a class of rational difference equations.

The lack of a comprehensive system for identifying the role and understanding of the structural relationships of local water users in the local stakeholder’s network is one of the most important challenges for the integrated management of water resources and the governance perspective. Thus, identifying and analyzing canyons, as the most important element of planning and implementing activities...

Social network theory is used to elicit details of the social structure of a population of free-ranging guppies, Poecilia reticulata. They were found to have a complex and highly structured social network, which exhibited characteristics consistent with the 'small world' phenomenon. Stable partner associations between individuals were observed, a finding that fulfils the basic prerequisite for ...

Interaction between users in online social networks plays a key role in social network analysis. One on important types of social group is full connected relation between some users, which known as clique structure. Therefore finding a maximum clique is essential for some analysis. In this paper, we proposed a new method using ant colony optimization algorithm and particle swarm optimization al...

In this paper, we study the problem of constructing a regulatory network of yeast in oxidative stress process. Discrete Dynamic System (DDS) model has been introduced in describing Gene Regulatory Networks (GRNs). However, delay effect was not taken into consideration within the model. A Time-delay DDS model composed of linear difference equations is developed to represent temporal interactions...

This paper discusses examples of socially inspired self-organisation approaches and their use to build socially-aware, self-organising computing systems. The paper presents different mechanisms originating from existing social systems, such as stigmergy from social insects behaviours, epidemic spreading, gossiping, trust and reputation inspired by human social behaviours, as well as other appro...

Antibody response to the influenza immunization was investigated in 83 1st-semester healthy university freshmen. Elevated levels of loneliness throughout the semester and small social networks were independently associated with poorer antibody response to 1 component of the vaccine. Those with both high levels of loneliness and a small social network had the lowest antibody response. Loneliness...
