In this article, a new generalization of Jordan’s inequality n ∑ k=1 μk ( θ − x )k ≤ sinx x − sin θ θ ≤ n ∑ k=1 ωk ( θ − x )k for t ≥ 2, n ∈ N and θ ∈ (0, π] is established, where the coefficients μk and ωk defined by recursion formulas (11) and (12) are the best possible. As an application, Yang’s inequality is refined.

This article presents a new iterative method for compensation of the (sin x)/x distortion inherent to discrete-to-continuous signal conversions. The method is based on the correction of the magnitudes and the Q-factors of the system’s transfer function. Various examples demonstrate that the new method compares favorably with the others presented so far in the 1 i terat ure.

In this article a group-theoretical aspect of the method of dimensional reduction is presented. Then, on the base of symmetry analysis of an anisotropic space geometrical description of dimensional reduction of equations for vector massless field is given. Formula for calculating components of the energymomentum tensor from the variables of the field factor-equations is derived. The covariant e...

The neuroprotective effect of sinomenine (SIN) has been demonstrated in several brain injury models. However, its role and molecular mechanism in traumatic brain injury (TBI) remain unknown. In this study, we investigated the neuroprotective effects of SIN in the weight-drop model of TBI in male ICR mice. Mice were randomly divided into the sham and TBI groups, SIN (10 mg/kg, 30 mg/kg and 50 mg...
