Reduced porous graphene oxide as a metal free catalyst was selected for the oxidative dehydrogenation of ethylbenzene to styrene. It showed the best catalytic performance compared with other carbon materials (routinely reduced graphene oxide, graphite powder and oxidized carbon nanotubes) and commercial iron oxide.

POF- is shown to be an efficient heterogeneous catalyst after metallation for asymmetric conjugation addition with up to 93% ee, and it can also function as a new chiral stationary phase for gas chromatographic separation of racemates.

We reported a universal route for synthesizing porous organic ligands (POLs) via solvothermal polymerization. The POLs were obtained quantitatively, showing high surface area, large pore volume, hierarchical porosity, and superior stability.
