We prove Ostrowski inequalities (regular and weighted cases) on time scales and thus unify and extend corresponding continuous and discrete versions from the literature. We also apply our results to the quantum calculus case.

In this paper we will investigate a method of approximating an integral in three independent variables. The Ostrowski type inequality is established by the use of Peano kernels and provides a generalisation of a result given by Pachpatte.

Some errors in literatures are pointed out and corrected. A generalization of Ostrowski type inequalities for functions whose derivatives in absolute value are s-convex in the second sense is established. Special cases are discussed.
