Applications of the fixed point theory of multivalued maps can be classified into several areas: (1) Game theory and mathematical economics; (2) Discontinuous differential equations and differential inclusions; (3) Computing homology of maps; (4) Conley index methods in chaotic dynamics; (5) Digital imaging and computer vision. We briefly recall the history of the most classical and well develo...
The viscoelastic character of polymer solutions and melts gives rise to instabilities that are not seen in the flows of Newtonian liquids. In industrial applications such as coating and extrusion, these so-called “elastic” instabilities can impose a limitation on the throughput. Hence, it is important to understand, and if possible, to suppress them. The first instability we study is the phenom...
The fixed points theorems for Rhoades-type contraction mapping were investigated by many authors [1, 5, 8, 10, 13, 16, 22] and the more results on this fields can be found in [2, 4, 9, 11, 15, 23]. Hybrid fixed point theory for nonlinear single-valued and multivalued maps is a new development in the domain of contraction-type multivalued theory (see [3, 7, 10, 12, 14, 17, 18, 20] and references...
In this paper we consider the convergence of iterative processes for a family of multivalued nonexpansive mappings. Under somewhat different conditions the sequences of Noor, Mann and Ishikawa iterates converge to the common fixed point of the family of multivalued nonexpansive mappings.
In this paper, we consider the convergence of three-step fixed point iterative processes for multivalued nonexpansive mapping with errors, under some different conditions, the sequences of three-step fixed point iterates strongly or weakly converge to a fixed point of the multivalued nonexpansive mapping. Our results extend and improve some recent results.
We give control conditions for the approximation of fixed points of multivalued demicontractive and multivalued hemicontractive maps recently introduced in [1]. Many of our conditions are weaker than the conditions used in [1], hence our results improve and complement the convergence results in [1] and the references therein.
In this paper we obtain some sufficient conditions for the existence of common fixed points of multivalued mappings satisfying generalized contractive conditions in non normal cone metric spaces. These results establish some of the most general common fixed point theorems for two multivalued maps in cone metric spaces. AMS subject classifications: 47H10, 54H25, 54C60, 46B40

In this paper we generalize the multivalued contraction theorem of S. B. Nadler [8]. As corollaries we obtain fixed point theorems for a multivalued function in complete dislocated metric spaces and complete partial metric space. 1991 Mathematics Subject Classification: 54H25, 47H10
In this paper, a new orthogonal wavelet representation of multivalued images is presented. The idea for this representation is based on the concept of maximal gradient of multivalued images. This concept is generalized from gradients toward linear vector operators in the image plane with equal components along rows and columns. Using this generalization, the pyramidal dyadic wavelet transform a...
