Mohéli is one of the four main islands constituting Comoros Archipelago, with Mayotte, Anjouan and Grande Comore Islands. It third Island closer from Madagascar after Mayotte Anjouan. So far, no species mite family Phytoseiidae had been reported this island. We report in paper results a survey conducted at end 2018 Island, which 18 have recorded.

Thirty specimens of sand lizard, Lacerta agilis, were analyzed and Ophionyssus saurarum was found on three of them. These parasitic mites were located in the ear opening of the host. The only lizard specimens which were infested were those that inhabit areas degraded by human activity.
