This paper focuses on the problem of finite-time boundedness and finite-time passivity of discrete-time T-S fuzzy neural networks with time-varying delays. A suitable Lyapunov--Krasovskii functional(LKF) is established to derive sufficient condition for finite-time passivity of discrete-time T-S fuzzy neural networks. The dynamical system is transformed into a T-S fuzzy model with uncertain par...

From the algorithm procedure presented in section 4 and the examples in this section, we can nd out it is easy to solve interval valued fuzzy relation equations by using fuzzy relation inequality system (8). The computation complexity of this algorithm is as same as that of the more commonly used algorithm 5] for fuzzy relation equations (1). So, the problem is more complicated than constant fu...

In this paper we introduce a notion of a non-Archimedean fuzzy norm and study the stability of the Cauchy equation in the context of non-Archimedean fuzzy spaces in the spirit of Hyers–Ulam–Rassias–Găvruţa. As a corollary, the stability of the Jensen equation is established. We indeed present an interdisciplinary relation between the theory of fuzzy spaces, the theory of non-Archimedean spaces ...

This paper considers the problem of designing static output feedback controllers for nonlinear systems represented by Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy models. Based on linear matrix inequality technique, a new method is developed for designing fuzzy stabilizing controllers via static output feedback. Furthermore, the result is also extended to H∞ control. Examples are given to illustrate the effective...

This paper is concerned with fuzzy cellular neural networks with distributed delays. Sufficient conditions on the existence, uniqueness and global exponential stability of equilibrium point are established by using the Homeomorphism theory and applying elementary inequality 2ab ≤ a2 + b2. Moreover an example is given to illustrate results obtained. Key–Words: Fuzzy cellular neural networks, Glo...

This paper proposes different parameterized linear matrix inequality (PLMI) characterizations for fuzzy control systems. These PLMI characterizations are, in turn, relaxed into pure LMI programs, which provides tractable and effective techniques for the design of suboptimal fuzzy control systems. The advantages of the proposed methods over earlier ones are then discussed and illustrated through...

Minkowski type inequalities for the seminormed fuzzy integrals on abstract spaces are studied in a rather general form. Also related inequalities to Minkowski type inequality for the seminormed fuzzy integrals on abstract spaces are studied. Several examples are given to illustrate the validity of theorems. Some results on Chebyshev and Minkowski type inequalities are obtained.

In this paper we prove a common fixed point theorem for two fuzzy mappings defined on metric spaces. These mappings are assumed to satisfy certain contractive inequality involving functions which are generalizations of altering distance functions. We also note that this fuzzy fixed point result is derivable from a multi-valued fixed point result.

In this paper, we obtain some common fixed point theorems for four fuzzy mappings in complete ordered metric linear spaces. These mappings are assumed to satisfy certain contractive inequality involving functions which are generalizations of altering distance functions. We also note that this fuzzy fixed point result is derivable from a multi-valued fixed point result.

This paper presents new relaxed stability conditions and LMI(linear matrix inequality) based designs for both continuous and discrete fuzzy control systems. They are applied to design problems of fuzzy regulators and fuzzy observers. First, Takagi and Sugeno’s fuzzy models and some stability results are recalled. To design fuzzy regulators and fuzzy observers, nonlinear systems are represented ...
