In a review of 145 children with partial onset epilepsy, the authors were able to determine a focus of children whose complex partial seizures (CPS) ran a benign course, who had no identifiable lesion on scanning and whose EEG focus was not fixed, but tended to shift. The authors suggest that a benign form of CPS in children can be recognised.

A 13 years boy presented with a painless hard and fixed swelling in occipital region for the last three months. Plain X-ray, CT scan and MRI showed an expansile multi loculated cystic lesion in occipital bone. Histopathological examination revealed it to be an aneurysmal bone cyst. Treatment of choice is surgery. However, radiotherapy may be helpful in incompletely excised lesions.

Mefenamic acid is a common widely prescribed drug with analgesic activity. Authors report two cases of multifocal fixed drug eruption induced by mefenamic acid. Cases were diagnosed on basis of clinical examination and histopathology of skin lesion. Only a few cases have been reported in the literature and these are the first two described in Greece.
