We have proposed a 2 GHz CMOS Differential Low Noise Amplifier (LNA) for wireless receiver system. The LNA is fabricated with the 0.18 μm standard CMOS process. Cadence design tool Spectre_RF is used to design and simulation based on resistors, inductors, capacitors and transistors. Power constrained methodology is used for the design of Differential Low Noise Amplifier. Consuming 9mA current a...
This paper reports the optimisation of the low-frequency response of a multi-stage bioelectric amplifier intended for use in the measurement of the electrocardiogram (ECG) using un-gelled electrodes. The frequency response was optimised to meet the International Electrotechnical Commission 60601 performance standards for electrocardiographs [1,2]. The low frequency response of a multi-stage amp...
A transconductance amplifier with extended bandwidth, which is a critical block in various applications including amplifiers, filters and DACs is presented. The presented technique introduces a differential-mode negative capacitance while introduces the common-mode positive capacitance such that it extends the differential-mode bandwidth and compensates the common-mode stability. The proposed t...
In this paper, a differential multi-band CMOS low noise amplifier (LNA), operated in a wide range from 800MHz~1700MHz, with wide-band interference rejection, linearity improvement and the capacitive cross-coupling technology, is proposed. The proposed differential multi-band CMOS low noise amplifier with high linearity performance and good interference rejection performance. The post-simulation...
Absfrucf In this paper a low-voltage two-stage O p Amp is presented. The O p Amp features rail-to-rail operation and has an @put stage with a constant transconductance (%) over the entire common-mode input range. The input stage consists of an nand a PMOS differential pair connected in parallel. The constant gm is accomplished by regulating the tail-currents with the aid of an MOS translinear (...
— The paper considers some basic problems in the design of tunable fully differential gyrator resonance circuit. First is presented briefly the theory of the parallel gyrator tank with emphasizing on the effects from the amplifier imperfections. Then is considered the design of a single stage operational transconductance amplifier (OTA) with source degeneration for better linearity. It is demon...
An ultra-low voltage rail-to-rail operational trans conductance amplifier (OTA) based on a standard digital 0.18μm CMOS process is described in this paper. Techniques for designing a 0.6 volt fully differential OTA are discussed including bias and reference current generator circuit. To rail-to-rail operation complementary input differential pairs are used where Bulk driven technique is used to...
A 1 V rail-to-rail constant-gm CMOS operational amplifier is proposed. This study shows that keeping the sum of currents in the complementary differential pairs constant rather than controlling the tail currents produces a constant-gm input stage operating in the weak inversion. The currents in the n-channel differential pair are regulated to keep the sum of currents in the complementary differ...
in this paper first we try to analysis the behavior ofthe soas in the optical networks and then have proposed anumerical simple model to simulate the behavior of thesemiconductor optical amplifiers. after that by employing thismodel as inline amplifier for a dwdm optical system, we havesimulated the transmission of 10 channels with bit rate 10 gb/sup to distance 3970 km with rz-dpsk modulation ...
A method is presented to reduce the interference pickup in nerve cuff recordings. The g,ains of differential amplifiers connected to the true tripole nerve cuff arrangement are tuned adaptively to null the residual EMG. Simulation results show that extraction of the neural signal is possible using this method without the need for high order filtering.
