Model counting is a fundamental problem which has been influential in many applications, from artificial intelligence to formal verification. Due the intrinsic hardness of model counting, approximate techniques have developed solve real-world instances counting. This paper designs new anytime approach called PartialKC for The idea form partial knowledge compilation provide an unbiased estimate ...
The Reble accelerator at Sandia Laboratories is described. This accelerator was developed to provide an experimental source for studying the relevant diode physics, bea.m propagation, beam energy deposition in a gas using a radially converging e-bea.m. The nominal parameters for Reble are 1 WI, 200 kA., 20 ns e-bea.m pulse. The anode and cathode are concentric CY.linders with the anode as the i...
Systems for which each constant input gives rise to a unique globally attracting equilibrium are considered. A counterexample is provided to show that inputs which are only asymptotically constant may not result in states converging to equilibria (failure of the converging-input converging state, or “CICS” property).
It is shown that in the model obtained by adding any number of random reals to a model of CH, there is a compact Hausdorff space of weight ω1 which contains no non-trivial converging sequences. It is shown that for certain spaces with no converging sequences, the addition of random reals will not add any converging sequences.
this paper will discuss several emerging and converging technologies and college students perceive some of the ethical issues related to the emerging and converging technologies such as biometrics technology, nanotechnology, nanocomputing, expert systems, pervasive computing, and intelligent user interfaces. Keywords-emerging technology , converging technology, ethical
