In this paper the concept of metacompactness in L-topologicalspaces is introduced by means of point finite families of L-fuzzy sets. Thisfuzzy metacompactness is a natural generalization of Lowen fuzzy compactness.Further a characterization of fuzzy metacompactness in the weakly inducedL-topological spaces is also obtained.

In this thesis we study the geometry and topology of Riemannian 3-orbifolds which are locally volume collapsed with respect to a curvature scale. In this paper our main result states that there exist exactly three combinatorially distinct centrally-symmetric 12-vertex-triangulations of the product of two 2-spheres with a cyclic symmetry. We also compute the automorphism groups of the triangulations. These instances suggest that there is a triangulation of S × S with 11 vertices – the minimum number of vertices required.
