the treatment of in completely formed pulpless teeth has presented considrable problems. these teeth have wide open apexes and the walls of the root canal diverge toward the apical tissues. mechanical preparation cannot be done in the normal manner beacause of the large initial size and the taper of apical part of the canal , a mechanical stop cannot be produced at the apex of the canal and , t...
Based on the spectra obtained with Infrared Space Observatory, ISO, we detected the 6.3μm bands of water in the late K giant Aldebaran (α Tau) and several early M giant stars (between M0 and M3.5), which have been deemed to be too warm for tri-atomic H2O molecule to reside in their photospheres. The water column densities range (0.2− 2)× 10 molecules cm in our sample of K and M giant stars and ...
A survey of 27 galactic star-forming regions in the 6K −5K and 5K −4K CH3CN lines at 110 and 92 GHz, respectively, was made. Twenty-five sources were detected at 110 GHz and nineteen at 92 GHz. The strongest CH3CN emission arise in hot cores in the regions of massive star formation. CH3CN abundance in these objects is increased up to 10−9 or larger. Weaker CH3CN lines were found in a number of ...
In this contribution we present a few selected examples of how the latest generation of space-based instrumentation – NASA’s Chandra X-ray Observatory and the Far-Ultraviolet Spectroscopic Explorer (FUSE) – are finally answering old questions about the influence of massive star feedback on the warm and hot phases of the ISM and IGM. In particular, we discuss the physical origin of the soft ther...
geosmin and mib are the common factors causing odor in the water. water treatment plants usually employ the conventional processes such as aeration, coagulation, flocculation, chlorination or ozonation and adsorption as preventive measures to reduce water odor. but each of these processes alone cannot completely remove the smell. the smell of fish, grass and mud greatly depends on the excessive...
This study was conducted July of 2012 in Iowa, in WARM (<26.7 °C) and HOT (≥26.7 °C) weather. Four sprinkling methods were compared, with one treatment being randomly assigned to each load: control- no sprinkling (not applied in HOT weather), pigs only, bedding only, or pigs and bedding. Experiment 1 used 51 loads in WARM- and 86 loads in HOT weather to determine sprinkling effects on pig measu...
