Received () Revised () Recurrent nets are in principle capable to store past inputs to produce the currently desired output. Because of this property recurrent nets are used in time series prediction and process control. Practical applications involve temporal dependencies spanning many time steps, e.g. between relevant inputs and desired outputs. In this case, however, gradient based learning ...

This paper studies the vanishing of $Ext$ modules over group rings. Let $R$ be a commutative noetherian ring and $ga$ a group. We provide a criterion under which the vanishing of self extensions of a finitely generated $Rga$-module $M$ forces it to be projective. Using this result, it is shown that $Rga$ satisfies the Auslander-Reiten conjecture, whenever $R$ has finite global dimension and $ga...

We prove a conjecture of Gross regarding the “order of vanishing” of Stickelberger elements relative to an abelian tower of fields and give a cohomological construction of the conjectural Gross–Stark units. This is achieved by introducing an integral version of the Eisenstein cocycle.

2014 The methods of group theory and the algebra of plethysm are used to give a complete symmetry classification of the scalar two-particle operators that have non-vanishing matrix elements in the configurations pn, dn, fn and (d + s)n. The identification of both real and effective interactions having these symmetry properties is discussed. LE JOURNAL DE PHYSIQUE TOME 30, JANVIER 1969,

Tour into the picture (TIP) proposed by Horry et al.13 is a method for generating a sequence of walk-through images from a single reference picture (or image). By navigating a 3D scene model constructed from the picture, TIP produces convincing 3D effects. Assuming that the picture has one vanishing point, they proposed the scene modeling scheme called spidery mesh. However, this scheme has to ...

In the intersecting brane configurations with any number n of extra dimensions, we obtain a localized gravity on the n orthogonal non-solitonic or solitonic (n+2)-branes in the presence of higher curvature terms. In the presence of such terms there would exist a non vanishing brane tension at the four-dimensional brane intersection of the (2 + n)-branes. The effective 4d Planck scale MP l is de...

‎The object of the present paper is to study spacetimes admitting‎ ‎quasi-conformal curvature tensor‎. ‎At first we prove that a quasi-conformally flat spacetime is Einstein‎ ‎and hence it is of constant curvature and the energy momentum tensor of such a spacetime satisfying‎ ‎Einstein's field equation with cosmological constant is covariant constant‎. ‎Next‎, ‎we prove that if the perfect flui...

We introduce an integral version of the Eisenstein cocycle. As applications we prove a conjecture of Gross regarding the “order of vanishing” of Stickelberger elements relative to an abelian tower of fields and give a cohomological construction of the conjectural Gross–Stark units.

A new approach for estimating 3D head pose form a monocular image is proposed. Our approach employs general prior knowledge of face structure and the corresponding geometrical constraints provided by the location of vanishing point to determine pose of human faces. Eye-lines and mouth-line are assumed parallel in 3D space, and the vanishing point formed by the intersection of the eyeline and mo...
