This paper presents a new method for poor lighting contrast enhancement of MRI images based on the Weber‟s law. Background of MRI images is identified by using the contrast enhancement transformations. The contrast image transformation can be defined by two operators: opening and closing. The first operator employs information from block analysis, while the second transformation utilizes the op...
We present a unifying view of discrete-time operator models used in the context of finite word length linear signal processing. Comparisons are made between the recently presented gamma operator model, and the delta and rho operator models for performing nonlinear system identification and prediction using neural networks. A new model based on an adaptive bilinear transformation which generaliz...
In this paper we study weighted composition operators on Orlicz spaces. Introduction : Let X and Y be two non empty sets and let F(X) and F(Y) be denoted the topological vector spaces of complex valued functions on X and Y respectively. If T : Y → X is a mapping such that f oT ∈ F (Y) whenever f ∈ F (X), then we can define a composition transformation C T : F (X) → F (Y) by C T f = f oT for eve...
Here expounded is a kind of symbolic operator method by making use of the defined Sheffer-type polynomial sequences and their generalization, which can be used to construct many power series transformation and expansion formulas. The convergence of the expansions are also discussed. AMS Subject Classification: 41A58, 41A80, 65B10, 05A15, 33C45, 39A70.
This paper investigates various new subordination results for certain p -valent analytic functions involving a generalized multiplier transformation operator Jm p (λ , l),m ∈ Z, defined recently by J. K. Prajapat [Math. Comput. Modelling, 55 (2012), 1456–1465]. Several lines of approach are followed to obtain the subordination results. We also consider some simpler and precise forms of the deri...
We introduce a new domain wall operator that represents a full (real) Möbius transformation of a given non-chiral Dirac kernel. Shamir's and Chiu/Boriçi's domain wall fermions are special cases of this new class. By tuning the parameters of the Möbius operator and by introducing a new Red/Black preconditioning, we are able to reduce the computational effort substantially.
We extend recent work concerning isospectral deformations for one-dimensional Schrödinger operators to the case of Jacobi operators. We provide a complete spectral characterization of a new method that constructs isospectral deformations of a given Jacobi operator (Hu)(n) = a(n)u(n + 1) + a(n − 1)u(n − 1) − b(n)u(n). Our technique is connected to Dirichlet data, that is, the spectrum of the ope...
The Segal–Shale–Weil representation associates to a symplectic transformation of the Heisenberg group an intertwining operator, called metaplectic operator. We develop an explicit construction of metaplectic operators for the Heisenberg group H(G) of a finite abelian group G, an important setting in finite time-frequency analysis. Our approach also yields a simple construction for the multivari...

Using a detailed multilevel analysis of the complete hp-Multigrid as Smoother algorithm accurate predictions are obtained of the spectral radius and operator norms of the multigrid error transformation operator. This multilevel analysis is used to optimize the coefficients in the semi-implicit Runge-Kutta smoother, such that the spectral radius of the multigrid error transformation operator is ...
