In this paper, we present a third-order Newton-type method to solve systems of nonlinear equations. In the first we present theoretical preliminaries of the method. Secondly, we solve some systems of nonlinear equations. All test problems show the third-order convergence of our method. 2006 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.
The point symmetric single step procedure PSS1 has R-order of convergence at least 3. This procedure is modified by adding another single-step, which is the third step in PSS1. This modified procedure is called the point zoro symmetric single-step PZSS1. It is proven that the R-order of convergence of PZSS1 is at least 4 which is higher than the R-order of convergence of PT1, PS1, and PSS1. Hen...
omotopy analysis method (ham) is a promising method for handling func-tional equations. recent publications proved the eectiveness of ham in solvingwide variety of problems in dierent elds. ham has a unique property whichmakes it superior to other analytic methods, this property is its ability to con-trol the convergence region of the solution series. in this work, we claried theadvantages ...
A new six order variant of Newton’s method has been developed by extending a third order method of Ozban [14] and its convergence properties have been discussed. The order of convergence of the proposed method is six. Starting with a suitably chosen x0, the method generates a sequence of iterates converging to the root. The convergence analysis is provided to establish its sixth order of conver...

OPTICAL KERR EFFECT ........................................................................................................................... 11 • BOUND ELECTRONIC OPTICAL KERR EFFECT IN SOLIDS.................................................................................... 11 • RE-ORIENTATIONAL KERR EFFECT IN LIQUIDS ........................................................................
As well known, in the investigation of qualitative behaviors of solutions, stability, convergence, boundedness, oscillation, and so forth of solutions are very important problems in theory and applications of differential equations. For example, in applied sciences, some practical problems concerning mechanics, the engineering technique fields, economy, control theory, physics, chemistry, biolo...
Indian Ocean is known as a source of moisture for southeast of Iran due to summer precipitation. In this study, in order to investigate the role of SST of Indian Ocean, and the convergence and divergence fields in the precipitation of southeast of Iran, precipitation data of five synoptic stations were used during 2000-2010, including Iranshahr, Khash, ChahBahar, Zabul, and Saravan. To investig...
