A generalized tanh method has been proposed and discussed. This method has been employed for solving two well-known models of nonlinear equations, namely the Drinfeld-Sokolov (DS) system and PHI-four equation. The exact solutions of these models are obtained. Finally, some wave solutions are exhibited.
This paper carries out the integration of Burgers equation by the aid of tanh method. In this article we apply the modified extended tanh-function method to find the exact traveling wave solutions of the generalized KdV-mKdV equation with any order nonlinear terms. In this paper we research the exact solutions for a sort of new Sine-Gordon equation. By using the tanh method and a variable separated ordinary difference method, we get some new exact travelling wave solutions, among which there are two new noncontinuous wave solutions.
