It has been reported that lymphoepithelial lesions (LEL), including Sjogren syndrome and benign lymphoepithelial lesions (BLEL), often change to low-grade malignant B-cell mucosa associated lymphoid tissue (MALT) lymphomas. In the patient described here BLEL changed to malignant lymphoma in both parotid glands over a 2-year interval. Surgical removal was performed because this malignant lymphom...

In the IEEE 802.16e system, we propose an efficient power saving mechanism that increases the unavailability interval when the mobile station (MS) uses multiple power saving classes(PSCs). Through the simulation results, we show that the proposed mechanism reduces the power consumption of MSs considerably compared with conventional mechanism.

Objectives Membrane bound receptor for advanced glycation end products (RAGE) is over-expressed in response to increasing concentrations of its ligand (eg S100A12) and triggers an inflammatory immune response. Its truncated form sRAGE acts as decoy receptor and competes for ligands thus down-modulating inflammation. Decreased sRAGE levels are associated with rheumatoid arthritis, Sjogren syndro...
The triad of keratoconjunctivitis sicca (KCS), salivary gland involvement (increase in size or xerostomia), and rheumatoid arthritis was described by Sjogren (1933) as a rare syndrome. Any two of the triad were sufficient to make the diagnosis. Subsequently the syndrome has been extended to include disseminated lupus erythematosus (Morgan, 1954; Ramage and Kinnear, 1956; Bain, 1960), systemic s...
