The article provides a mathematical model of the vertical oscillations main shaft on elastic supports sewing machine, taking into account inertial forces, as well rigidity characteristics rubber supports. regularities designs are experimentally determined for various modes grinding materials. An effective design scheme bearing with shock absorbers machine has been developed and recommended.

Introduction: Many vibration transport and technological machines (VTTM) such as conveyors, screens, crushers, etc. operate in a high-frequency mode, or above resonance. Resonance occurs during machine start slowdown, resulting sharply rising values of the amplitude velocity oscillations. affects VTTMs adversely due to increased dynamic loads reducing machinery operating life reliability causin...

We present a new method of measuring the power spectrum of initial perturbations to an unprecedently small scale of ∼ 10h −1 kpc. We apply this method to a sample of 4500 Ly-α absorbers and recover the cold dark matter (CDM) like power spectrum at scales ≥ 300h −1 kpc with a precision of ∼ 10%. However at scales ∼ 10 − 300h −1 kpc the measured and CDM–like spectra are noticeably different. This...

Elastomeric proteins are molecular springs that confer excellent mechanical properties to many biological tissues and biomaterials. Depending on the role performed by the tissue or biomaterial, elastomeric proteins can behave as molecular springs or shock absorbers. Here we combine single-molecule atomic force microscopy and protein engineering techniques to create elastomeric proteins that can...
