Background and Objective: Colors are complex structural materials, which enter into the environment due to finishing processes of textiles such as dyeing and printing. Reactive Blue 19 dye is used widely in the textile industry within the country. Therefore, we investigated the efficiency of the Russian knapweed flower powder as natural adsorbent in the removal of Reactive Blue 19 dye from sy...

Comparative study of the removal of the dye Reactive Red 120 (RR-120) from aqueous effluents from textile industry using microalgae Spirulina platensis (SP) and commercial active carbon (AC) were carried out. The batch adsorption systems were evaluated with respect to pH, agitation time, temperature and initial concentration of the dye. The maximum adsorption capacity for dye RR-120 were found ...

The scientific community is continuously developing new methods for the recovery and purification of water, since precious resources our planet are increasingly scarce we must work to save clean waters. One used use adsorbent absorbent materials that remove from water those substances harmful environment nanoclays. In this work, effect a nanoclay, specifically Halloysite, adsorb reactive dyes h...

A low cost adsorbent Fly Ash was used for the removal of Reactive Red 194 dye (RR 194 dye) from textile effluent. The Fly ash was activated by chemical treatment by N/2 H2SO4. Batch adsorption experiments were performed as functions of adsorbent doses, initial dye concentration, contact time, and pH. The percentage of colour removal was increased with decreasing dye concentration and increasing...

The removal of dyes from wastewater, is one of the major environmental concerns due to their high color density, and they are toxic at even low concentrations. Adsorption process by advanced oxidation processes (AOPs) has been found to be a more effective method than classical methods for treating dye-containing wastewater. This research, is to investigate the decolorization abilities of az...

The objective of this work is investigation of the adsorption and decomposition of Reactive Blue 19 from industrial wastewaters using laccase enzyme immobilized on activated carbon powder and fiber as adsorbent. Time, pH, temperature, stirring rate, the amount of the adsorbent, dye initial concentration, solution flow rate in the column and column height were studied as key operating parame...

Synthetic organic colourants, the majority of which are recalcitrant in nature, are used in many different manufacturing processes. The dyes are released into the environment in industrial effluents and are highly visible even at low concentrations (< 1 mg/l). Decolorisation of the dye CI Reactive Red 141 was investigated in a laboratory-scale anaerobic baffled reactor (ABR). The results of the...

Reactive blue dye was evaluated as a corrosion inhibitor for zinc in 0.5N HCl by weight loss, gasometric and thermometric methods. The inhibition efficiency was found to increase with increase in the inhibitor concentration. The adsorption of the inhibitor molecules on the zinc metal surface obeyed Temkin adsorption isotherm.

The present investigation assesses the application of ceric sulfate for the removal of the colorant reactive blue19 (R.B19) from synthetic wastewater. The adsorption characteristics and dye removal efficiency of adsorbent have been determined by investigating factors such as effect of pH (pHOptimum
