Although it is widely recognised that the presence of groups influences microscopic and aggregated pedestrian dynamics, a precise characterisation of the phenomenon still calls for evidences and insights. The present paper describes micro and macro level original analyses on data characterising pedestrian behaviour in presence of counter-flows and grouping, in particular dyads, acquired through...
Abstract International relations scholarship concerns dyads, yet standard modeling approaches fail to adequately capture the data generating process behind dyadic events and processes. As a result, they suffer from biased coefficients poorly calibrated errors. We show how regression-based approach, Additive Multiplicative Effects (AME) model, can be used account for inherent dependencies in gle...
A kinematic approach was used to measure mother-infant spatial proximity at 4 months. Maternal postpartum depression (PPD) impacts on mother-infant spatial interaction. We compared 28 dyads with mothers meeting criteria for PPD and 46 typical dyads. The PPD dyads had less variability in spatial proximity compared to typical dyads.
Intergenerational research on sustainable consumption remains scarce, particularly in relation to which factors may affect the level of intergenerational similarity and direction transmission. The present study addresses these gaps adds growing body literature environmental consumer socialization by examining influence attitudes behaviors a sample 146 dyads comprised mothers college-age daughte...
Early motherhood is considered a risk factor for an adequate relationship between mother and infant and for the subsequent development of the infant. The principal aim of the study is to analyze micro-analytically the effect of motherhood in adolescence on the quality of mother-infant interaction and emotion regulation at three months, considering at the same time the effect of maternal attachm...
Dyadic variability is considered to be a key mechanism in the development of mother-adolescent relationships, and low levels of dyadic flexibility are thought to be associated with behavior and relationship problems. The present observational study examined heterogeneity in the development of dyadic variability in mother-adolescent interactions and associations with psychosocial functioning. Dy...
Competitive dyadic interactions frequently attract the attention of bystanders that follow and disrupt ongoing contest. The motivation for to engage in such third-party behaviour is considered by several different theoretical approaches; one model argues intervene prevent subordinates from gaining a winner effect, thereby becoming threat individual's dominant status within group. This study inv...
Background: With regard to the importance of attachment in developing separation anxiety, the purpose of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of attachment based intervention via video feedback on decreasing negative representations and separation anxiety problems in preschool children. Materials and Method: The research method was semi experimental with pretest-posttest and follow u...
Little is empirically known about clinical supervision in addiction treatment. This study describes multiple domains of clinical supervision in addiction treatment from the perspectives of clinical supervisors and their counselors. Survey data were obtained from 484 matched clinical supervisor-counselor dyads working in diverse addiction treatment programs across the United States. Supervisors ...
