We introduce a new barrier function which has a linear growth term in its kernel function. So far all existing kernel functions have a quadratic (or higher degree) growth term. Despite this, a large-update primal-dual interior-point method based on this kernel function has the same iteration bound as the classical primal-dual method, which is based on the logarithmic barrier method.

We study logarithmic conformal field theories (LCFTs) through the introduction of nilpotent conformal weights. Using this device, we derive the properties of LCFT’s such as the transformation laws, singular vectors and the structure of correlation functions. We discuss the emergence of an extra energy momentum tensor, which is the logarithmic partner of the energy momentum tensor. PACS: 11.25.Hf

We reflect real spectra of new logarithmic model PT-symmetry operators with singular and non-singular in nature. also notice the iso-spectral nature between inverted noninverted potentials. Present numerical results give good agreement previous results.

We present optimal, up to poly-logarithmic factors, bit complexity results for basic operations, matrix-vector multiplication and solving non-singular linear systems, with structured matrices.

We use orbifold structures to deduce degeneracy statements for holomorphic maps into logarithmic surfaces. We improve former results in the smooth case and generalize them to singular pairs. In particular, we give applications on nodal surfaces and complements of singular plane curves.
