A new generation method of the Tow-Thomas (TT) circuit based on the nodal admittance matrix (NAM) expansion is given. The family of TT circuits de ̄ned includes four di®erent types of generated circuits. All the advantages of the classical TT circuit namely, independent control on the frequency, selectivity factor Q and gain, besides having very low passive sensitivities are maintained. Besides,...
Memristor is a new passive circuit element. The interaction of the memristor with other circuit elements is important for designers. In this paper, new memristor emulator circuit is designed using DDCC (differential difference current conveyor) based on CMOS. It is realized that the proposed emulator causes less complexity compared to other designed emulator circuits. Compatibility of memristor...
In this paper, a new voltage-mode first order allpass filter using minimum active and passive components is presented. The proposed circuit employs one fully differential second generation current conveyor (FDCCII), one grounded capacitor, one resistor and offers the following advantages: the use of only grounded capacitor which is attractive for integrated circuit implementation, low active an...
In this paper, a technique for realizing a floating capacitance multiplier based on the use of dual output current conveyors and grounded capacitance is proposed. Its multiplication factor can be tuned by changing the ratio of resistors. Moreover, the circuit is easily modified to electronically tunable floating capacitance multiplier by using current controlled conveyor. Simulation results are...
A set of fourteen current-mode sinusoidal oscillators employing a single differential difference complementary current conveyor (DDCCC) is proposed. This is the largest catalogue of sinusoidal oscillators with single resistor frequency control, that use only a single active building block (ABB) and minimum number of passive components. The proposed topologies were automatically designed by a ge...
The definition of the current conveyor is presented and it is shown how different generations of current conveyors can all be combined into a single definition of a multiple-output second generation current conveyor (CCII). Next, noise sources are introduced into the model, and a general noise model for the current conveyor is established. This model is used for the analysis of selected example...
Current conveyors are unity gain analog building block having high linearity, wide dynamic range and provide higher gain-bandwidth product. The current conveyors operate at low voltage supplies and consume less power. It has high input impedance, low output impedance and unity current gain (Iz/Ix=±1) as well as unity voltage gain (Vx/Vy=1). The working principle of Current Conveyors is very sim...
An accurate, wide output swing, low voltage charge pump is proposed. It is based on a second generation current conveyor which is used to equate charging and discharging currents. A low voltage enhanced current mirror ensures matching between nominal and output currents and current steering is used to minimize charge sharing. Simulation results characterize performance of the proposed circuit.
A CMOS inverting type second generation current conveyor ‘positive’ (ICCII+) is presented which is based on voltage and current mirror circuits. PSPICE simulation results of the proposed structure using 0.5 μm MIETEC CMOS process parameters show that it is suitable for wideband applications and has got a wide output current swing with small current tracking error.
This paper aims at to develop floating gate MOSFET (FGMOS) based low voltage, voltage-mode and current-mode circuits operating at ± 0.75 V supply voltages. The utility of FGMOS for low voltage applications lies in its threshold voltage tunability. FGMOS based low voltage current mirror and its subsequent use in the development of second-generation current conveyor is presented which in turn has...
